XPOST: Getting my hip replaced July 29 AM

I'll be off-line for the next few days to get a new right hip. Surgery is @ 7:30 Tuesday morning at Boston's Beth Israel Deaconess. I'm probably more anxious about this than I was for my RNY; unfortunately, there's no "Hip Replacement for Dummies" similar to "WLS for Dummies". Still, if they can perform this routinely on thousands of 80+ year olds, I really shouldn't have a problem. Then comes 6 weeks of convalescence; urgh. See you all when I get home! /Steve
