Time for a chance , I think?

Howdy, Well folks its now going on 8 weeks with no job here in Phoenix, and have only had 4 interviews. Not really happy here anymore. This is the funny part i was online chatting with my old landlord from palm springs, ca and he told me my old apt was available for me if i wanted it...... Well i did put my resume out in Palm Springs last night, and got some calls today saying they would not hire me till i got to town. and as soon as i got there to call them. Well folks do i take the chance and just pack up what i can and drive there 3hrs and be there and start fresh again?? What u all think? Scott

You only live once! Taking a chance can't hurt one iota!!! It's what life is all about! I left Phoenix in October of last year, and have done really well since then. The job market there is tough......People get in NO hurry to hire anyone, and the wages are still crap. Palm Springs in a nice place, other than high rent and insurance (in perspective) - you will have a decent community there unlike the rat race in Phoenix....you know what I am talking about.... Live it up a little - take a chance at life....you can always start over again back in AZ if you need to!!! Best wishes and good luck! ~Peace, Laurie
