Question About Buttsecks and DS
1.) Not unless you're given an extremely short "common channel". (Ba-dum!)
2.) Yes, in 6 months you'll be much more limber.
3.) You should gain 1" for every 20# lost. Cons: there's less of a shock absorber at the base! (I guess that holds true for both tops AND bottoms! )
Butt seriously: the duodenal switch surgery (or any WLS for that matter) doesn't directly affect the colon or large intestine; the surgery is well upstream. Having had the RNY, I can't speak from direct experience; this is just a "seat of the pants" conjecture!

hey AW...I have not gone there yet...but I have been prepared on several times....
now I'm RNY..so some things will be different...
I do watch what I eat a head of time....NO deviled eggs..you might wanna try out some of the anticipated positions first...just to clear the gas..for real...
it does seem like th prep work goes smoother...since things are moving well in that area...
where I had problems was on the other end...swallowing burning....and one time I thought I was gonna get the foamies....
have fun...take lots of pictures....
