TOTAL RANT!!! OMG i cant belive this Crap!
OK.. this is A Total Vent.. if your going to get upset.. Please stop reading NOW.. I placed an order on line through a place called ecost.com for a surround sound patch for my apple mac.. to my computer speakers.. I accidentally hit enter on their webform before all the information was done.. and i got a nice little message asking me to go back and complete the form.. so i hit the back button.. and of course it happened again.. well.. third time is a charm.. it went through just fine.. WELL!!!! thats when my problem started. apparently.. this ONLINE Dealer.. charged my Debit card for All 3 CHARGES.. taking more than a hundred dollars out of my account.. ( Or rather putting them on indeffinate HOLD with my bank) I cant Tell you HOW FRIGGIN ****ED OFF I AM!!!!! SO now i have NO Grocery Money.. I called the Bank to inform them and they said that the Buisness has to call them with Release numbers.. I called Ecost 2 days ago.. to have them cancel this.. and they have yet to do it.. ive called back each day since.. and they refuse to get a supervisor on the phone.. or to call me back.. this is the WORST Customer service I've EVER experianced in my LIFE!!! SO.. here's the crutch.. they have sent Many cancelations to their Credit card department.. the people who are supposedly going to issue these release numbers. I found out today that the product that i want is NOT in stock like their website states it is.. AND i 'm not able to get a hold of the supervisor.. to resolve my issue.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.. Spread this as Far and Wide as you can.. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from ECOST.COM You Will have NOTHING But Trouble..!!!! They are not Helpful.. AND their call center is based in INDIA so you cant hardly understand them.. Any Input on what i can do next.. to Cripple this website and bring them to financial Ruin would be Greatly appreciated!!!!!!! UUURRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I totally feel your pain, there is nothing worse than poor customer service. My company has farmed out some of the tasks and help desks (internally) to a call center in Mumbia India. They have no authority to do anything that isn't the exact situtation on the paper... It is like a computer program, they aren't allowed to think for themselves. Sucks b/c most of the people there have advanced degrees and they are doing meaningless tasks! It only makes the company look bad when they farm these things out.

Ok take a deep breathe there is a faster solution. Contact the bank and ask to submit a Reg E Claim for unauthorized debit to your account. You will have to fill an affidavit and the bank should then credit your account within 24-48 hours (temp) while they resolve the issue with the Vendor.
Sadly, when purchasing online it's imperative that before entering the "enter" button you're sure everything is fine because the computer just generates the order. Sometimes I feel that it's better to deal with a LIVE operator in these cir****tances.
The original rep @ the bank gave you some bad info. Contact a manager for the solution and good luck!
