My best friend here in CT is gay!

Shocked the crap outta me. The gaydar is down since I am married but I suspected a little when I first met him but after a few years when he never told me I just figured the gaydar was down. Yesterday he asked me what I was doing for the 4th and I told him then asked him. He told me about this sweet guy he had been seeing and that they we going to do something. . I texted back :O I didn't know. He told me he thought I did. LMAO After all the convos we have had about different things and one of them was about the whole "sexual discrimination" thing. He defended me but never said a word. Not complaining just shocked that I didn't see it coming. Oh and my mom had the nerve to tell me not to treat him any different than before.

I know! Why do you think I am so freakin shocked? I am even looking back and trying to see if I missed anything. He did go see Streisand but I dismissed that since he is Jewish.

BTW, kudos to Mom for being so open-minded (even though you didn't need to be told). She could have advised you to stop associating with him. Happens all the time...

The Gaydar is in the shop getting looked at. My mom works for two doctors that are lesbians and are together and there is another woman in the office that is one too. It would be hypocritical of her to tell me something like that.

It sure would be! Glad your Gaydar is getting serviced. Lots of people come to my neck of the woods (Provincetown) to recharge their Gaydar batteries. Maybe you'll consider a visit to Gayberry at some point in the future...
