Scott - glad to see you made it home but sorry you feel bad! It won't be long until you feel like yourself again! As far as sleeping - ya ever heard of a "boyfriend" pillow? I know what you are thinking but it is not the same! This is a pillow that has arms and a high back - most college kids use them. Some people call them dorm pillows.... I used that but I borrowed a recliner and that was the best thing ever! I actually borrowed it again during my PS.... thank goodness my brother is so understanding... moving that thing twice is not a lot of fun! This is going to be a wild ride... .kind of bumpy at first but it was the best thing I ever did!

> Glad i did this bud dam no one told me it > was going to feel like being run over by a mack truck... Yep, a really BIG Mack Truck! I had trouble sleeping in my bed for a couple of weeks; I finally sucked it up and realized that I wasn't going to be all that comfortable in any position, and put up with it for a while. Nothing broke! Remember to keep taking your pain meds if you've been prescribed them; they should help both with the discomfort and with getting to sleep. It took me about a month to be back at 90%, but you feel better gradually every day, such that by 6 weeks out, it's hard to recall quite how terrible you felt 6 weeks earlier! Best of luck! /Steve

So glad to know you're home. Did you get my message from the morning of your surgery? I still feel bad about posting it after you'd already left for the hospital...
