QOTD who do you admire?

Who do you admire and why? Let's limit this to people you know, not famous people. Mine would be a friend who confronts prejudice when she experiences it. She stands up for her beliefs in a way that encourages me. She is not afraid to talk to the newspaper about being a lesbian, and gets quoted a lot. Being her friend makes me more brave! Connie

My dad. He's loving, sweet, funny, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, a wonderful listener, a great storyteller, supportive, accepting, and my hero. I love him to bits.

I def. do not want this to come out wrong as I admire a lot of people. I admire "me" and I am my own hero. I strive to be a compassionate, caring, and loving individual. I base my life around honesty and my word. I am def. an animals best friend...I do not even kill spiders. I pride myself on ALWAYS following through on what I say. I am very verbal when it comes to standing in when something is wrong. Well, I could go on and on about myself..LMAO!! There are too many people to name that I admire. I try to pull and mimic all the good traits I see in others. If I had to name one, it would be the Dalai Lama for sure.

OK, I am going to be generic. I admire people that stand up for what the believe in, don't let others push them around, are considerate and nice, etc.
