What's for breakfast?
What do you usually have for breakfast? Do you have the same thing all the time or do you mix it up?
I usually have protein coffee or a protein shake, so I start my day with between 20-40 grams of protein.
It's not easy for me to eat in the morning. I leave for work at about 6:30 am, so this works out great for me. I usually have a snack around 9:30 while I'm at work.

I ALWAYS start my day with 3-4 cups of coffee with fat-free half&half and Splenda. Coffee is my transfer addiction, LOL.
During the school year, I usually have a SlimFast Low Carb RTD chocolate shake followed by a SlimFast High Protein peanut granola protein bar.
On weekends or during school breaks, I eat whatever Janet cooks. I don't like to cook and will pretty much pass out from hypoglycemia before cooking. She usually cooks scrambled eggs with sausage (or vegetable soy protein), pico de gallo (jalepenos, tomatoes, and onions), and cheese.

About half of the time, my SO makes oatmeal for both of us, with skim milk as the fluid and a handful of raisins, and I mix in a scoop of Beneprotein whey protein in my portion. It works out to about 20g of protein.
Other days, I usually have a Slim Fast Low Carb RTD shake OR a South Beach meal bar. Some days (like today), I have both. Which makes me crazy, since I've already used up 400 cals so far!

I normally do 4 oz of LF cottage cheese, sometime with 8.5 soy crisps as a vehicle.
I don't do any caffeine (with the exception of Tuesday morning when I got home from the ER at 4 am with my SO's softball injury and then had to work at 9. Yikes!), but I do occasionally do a decaf soy sugar free hazelnut latte. If I do, I have to time it carefully so that the liquid doesn't interfere with more solid food.
