Introduction

Hi there. I've only been on the OH boards, and I absolutely love it. I spend most of my time on the Lightweights board, but then I saw this board linked at the bottom of one of the LW posts that brought me here. I am so happy that a LGBT board exists. I thought I'd take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Rebecca, and my RNY surgery was on Monday, April 14. I have been home since Friday afternoon. There weren't any complications, and I feel relatively okay. Yesterday was the first day that I actually felt like doing anything. It's nice to have some energy! I am almost 36 (Friday!), a single mom, and an English teacher. I have a lot of support systems, including other people in my close circle who have successfully had the surgery, but well, it just isn't the same. I don't know how to describe it. Well, that's me!
