9 week update
I am down 60 pounds since surgery and 101 pounds from my high. I had set a goal of 200 but I am rethinking that. I also have to go shopping since I am still wearing clothes that I wore 100 pounds ago. Ok, so the shirts are just really baggy, but I want a pair of jeans. Gonna hit up a consignment shop and see what Lane Byant has in clearance and I heard Avenue is having a sale.
Good for you! I fully understand the clothes thing. I waited and waited to buy anything new and then I too hit the thrift stores. I always knew my clothes were getting baggy, but it never hit home 'til a colleague said, "Ohhh girl, you're looking sloppy." LMAO I still need to buy new clothes about every two months. Mainly bottoms, though. I just recently bought new unders, as the old ones I bought before Xmas were already saggy bottom drawers. I have gone from a 3X top to a medium, 22 jeans to size 10's, 9 undies to a 6 and the bad news...38B to a 34A I want to lose 7 more pounds by end of May (my 1 yr. mark), but 21 more all together. Keep up the good work & take care of you, April
Kathy, you are doing such a fantastic job! WTG! I bought a few things at Catherine's when they were on mega sale but now they are starting to get a little big. I guess I need to pull out the sewing machine cuz I can't find anything decent in plus sizes at the thrift stores. I've gone from a 34 (which was too tight) to a 26 in pants and tops from 5x to 3x. When warm weather gerts here I am really screwed cuz I have NOTHING to wear.
