Can you make a spot for me on that bench?

Hey all, often lurker infrequent poster, but would like to tell everyone I had my surgery done on Tuesday the 11th, came home the 13th and feel great today. I think I had a mini-dump last night. I think I had too much milk and protein powder. I got very cold and clammy and then had a pretty bad case of diarrhea for the rest of the night and even this morning. But I feel fine now. The doctor told me not to do it when I got home, but curiousity got the better of me. I weighed myself the day I came home. I had gained 15 lbs in fluid, but that has since come out and I'm actually down 5 lbs since the day of surgery. I know I'm going to be obessed with the scales for the next few weeks. Hopefully, I will heed all the excellent advice that I've read on here and the other boards that it's not always about the lbs. Anyway, I'm just thankful I got through everything ok and now I'm on the "Losers" bench!

You could be lactose intolerant now. Congrats on your surgery! We kept a spot on the bench warm for you!

Scootin on over for you.. Congtrats!! I am lactose intolerant, and can not drink the lactose free stuff I dump on it just like milk but not quite as bad, so now I drink Silk Soy milk the vanilla seems the best to me. Maybe you should try a soy milk and see if that helps ya. Phyllis

David, Congratulations of making it to the "Losers" bench. Good luck on learning how to use your new tool. It is a learning experience for sure as you've already found out. I'm two years out next month and I am still learning. Keep in touch and good luck. JM
