Howdy Ladies and Gents.. (re introduction)
Howdy!!
Its been awhile since ive posted here.. but i wanted to get back to my Family!!!
I'm now 6 Weeks out from my surgery and my life seems to be a whirlwind..
SOOO many things are Changing for me.. My Name is David..
im Now Post OP!! SUrgery date was Feb 4th. and i have soo much to share.. LOL
I'm finally getting back to real food.. and UGH.. what a Pain.. one day i can eat something.. and the next day i Cant eat it any more... GO figure..
of course we all go through that i'm sure.. so now i'm searching for High Protien recipies.. something i can make that is not ALL MEAT.. cause i'm not gettin gin my 60G per day.. and i'm trying SOO HARD..
another big change is I start with a Personal Trainer next week.. and i'm sooo excited about it.. Met with him for the first time last night.. seems like a great guy.. and he told me that i have more muscle than i do fat at 38% body fat.. but i have to get down to 25% to be in the healthy range...so we are going to start working on building my muscle.. and loosing the fat.. I"m hoping that if i build muscle while i loose fat.. i wont have so much Extra Skin on my arms and Legs.. i know my belly probably cant be helped..
i've had MANY WOW moments so far.. but the biggest was Yesterday.. when i bent down and could actually touch the floor with my finger tips.. WOW!!!!
and as of yesterday i'm at 309 and thats down from 369!!!

Welcome back and congratulations on your awesome progress. Eating is definately a challenge after RNY, but it is so worth it. Good luck on the Personal Trainer. I never exercised while I was losing and regret it now. Wonder how that would've made a difference. Let us know how you progress.
