Here's a great recipe! 1 dish of grits, buttered, salted and peppered 6 hours of sliming and throwing up Mix in 65 mile trip to the ER with a trash can in hand in dense fog with a doc there who couldn't get any saline out, add also one terrible barf and peeing on the floor Add in one night in a motel Arrive at clinic 8 AM per doc in ER and find out no doc till 11:30AM Mix in a morning of knitting with a 1cc removal Add another 65 mile drive (plus gasoline) Enjoy 24 hours of clear liquids! Connie (the no more grits girl!) This is how I spent Sunday and Monday and why I haven't been on the board!

So I guess that means I better eat my grits while I am still a pre-op. Sorry to hear of your suffering, you did'nt deserve that. I'm glad you are better, you were missed!

Well, I guess I'll hold off on the cheese grits casserole... Grits can be tricky.... oh but Cream of wheat is like gormet grits...light and fluffy oh baby...you must have made them thick and lumpy.... you know to mush them up with your scrambled eggs.... I was raised on grits, but now they make me dump.... sad I know Russ

I am totally fine now. Did 24 hours of clear liquids and 24 of mushies. I really didn't think they would be a problem. I've had cous cous about four times and no problems. At least now I can laugh at it but Sunday I wasn't laughing! My partner was a saint driving through that fog! Connie

OMG, it must have been bad if you peed on the floor! Poor thing! Hope you're feeling better. Love, the I-don't-even-know-what-grits-are girl, Rachel

I am sorry this happened to you--and really glad that I am not subject to dumping or getting stuff "stuck". I love my DS.
