How old were you....

When you realized your sexuality...whatever that may be? I remember being about 11 years old and me and my female cousin were taking pictures of different "body parts". Not with any film, but I think we were curious to just show and see our bodies. I didn't really think anything of that. I didn't realize I was a lesbian until right after high school. I have a gay cousin and I started hanging out with him and his friends. We started going to gay clubs and I fit in more than I ever imagined I would. What about you? Rachelle

41!!! I realized I'd fallen in love with my best friend! I was amazed to find out she had fallen in love with me too. Neither of us had a clue. Now as I look back at m y teens there were some signs which I had totally missed, including a crush on a gym teacher! Oh well, better late than never. By the way My best friend and I are still together 22 years later! Connie

Hope it was a good experience I think the younger generation has an easier time identifying what they are feeling. There weren't many "out" people when I was growing up. When the Reverand that is doing our ceremony asked who our lesbian influences were growing up, we couldn't think of any. Rachelle

I had a "crush" on my 3rd grade teacher, and i fooled around with friends when i was little, but i didn't come out until i was 19 and met my first girlfriend. I did however get severely reprimanded in jr. high when one of the nuns caught me and another girl kissing in the bathroom... (and my mother thought an all-girls school would keep me out of trouble....lol) Lori

I knew something was different as far back as 7....I think I was about 12 when I figured out what it was. I went to an all boys Catholic high school. In many ways that probably kept me from being able to express what I was feeling even more. Any sign of being gay would get you beat up and outcast.

I remember being attracted to men at puberty(about 12), I have always found Men Hot!! Femmes don't do it for me at all. But I didn't fully accept or realize I was gay til' I was about 20. I realized I was bi at first... and a day later I realized I was gay!!LOL Shortest transition ever!!

I realized I was Bi when I was 11, I was in love with Samantha Micelli (Alyssa Milano) and Mike Sever (Kirk Cameron) at the same time... I thought they were both hot as all get out.. and they both filled my pre teen fantasies... I must admit Alyssa still shows up there once in awhile LOL! I didnt really act on any of the girl feelings until I was 25, I think I was scared because I was from a small town, bu****ch once I got that first taste watch out!
