O.K. OH MAKES $$ FROM THIS BOARD

I went out to the "FORUMS" and they have no targeted advertisement.....just general obesity related stuff HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED THE "GOOGLE ADVERTISEMENTS" AT THE LEFT BOTTOM OF THE MESSAGE BOARD ??? THEY ARE TAREGTED SPECIFICALLY AT "OUR" COMMUNITY........... I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER..........

Oh yeah Sean.... OH is a For Profit Organization... I don;t mind the advertisements....but the conventions....thier speakers are the docs that have the biggest adds in the magazine...and if you look for a % of what they give back to the community...research and out reach...it's only about 13%...and that is under the titile of out reach...so that could be advertising to come to the board... I'm just happy they pretty much leave us alone and let us help each other.... but I understand...ohhh,,,there was a big dust up about 3 years ago with a walf from obesity thingy.... I'll share that gossip if any of your are interested russ

Maybe if we appeal to their financial interests they will give in to our demands?? We might encourage our members to click on the links for instance every few weeks or so. Then they are happy and we are happy??
