Being Cruised
Okay, so I am down more than 140 pounds since March of this year, and the journey's been amazing to say the least. I really can't complain. But, I am sure all of you can attest that adjusting to this new body is just difficult.
Over the past three months, I have had so many people comment on how "hot" I looked or something like that, and every time, it makes me blush (if that were possible with my complexion). Hell, during my morning jogs along the river, I have been cruised at least seven times. It's just weird to get this type of attention. The first thought that comes to mind is that they are just being nice, but some of the people seem genuinely sincere. It's just weird. Ugh!
Anyone know what I'm talking about? The weirdness factor? The awkwardness of being cruised or having someone making comments like that?
