Thanks Sean. I had Lap RNY on 11/7/07. Doing OK so far. Let's see....well, as of right now, we have 2 Alpacas, 2 Goats, 5 Pheasants, 1 Dove, 4 Rabbits, 1 ****atiel, 1 Cat, 2 Geckos, 1 Blue Tongued Skink, and 1 very large Standard Poodle. Then there's the husband and the son. Whew! I live in Southern NH, not too far from Sean, and have had the good fortune to know Sean and his partner for many years. Thanks for all the kind words of welcome. I look forward to making friends, learning and sharing. I have lost 21 pounds so far and I can't wait for all the things I'll be able to do. Sean, keep those rollerblades handy, once we're done I'm holding you to going rollerblading with me! BTW, your secrets are safe with me. :crazy: (SURE, they are!):devil: I welcome responses from any and all. ~Shirley

Welcome Shirley. What is an Alpaca and a blue tongued skink? I left a mini poodle at home when I moved to CT to get married. I now have a hubby and black and white beagle. (pics of all three in my profile.) I do have one question... is Sean as crazy in real life as he seems on here?

An Alpaca is an animal similar to a Llama, but smaller. A skink is a lizard. There are over 500 types of skinks. This one comes from Australia, and has a blue tongue, like a chow dog. YES, Sean is delightfully looney in person. Trust me, you haven't lived until you've wrestled with him and gotten French Dressing in your hair! The exuberance that comes through in his postings is only a small percentage of the real thing. It's a privilege to call him "friend". ~Shirley
