RNY 10 hours from now!

I've been a lurker on the men's and GLBT boards for the past six weeks, and just wanted to dip into the pool and say hello. My RNY is tomorrow, Tuesday, 11/27/07 at 7:30AM. Have to get to Boston's Beth Israel Deaconess by 6AM!! To tell the truth, I'm not sure whether I'll even try to get to sleep tonight; I'm afraid I might oversleep OR I'll be too excited to fall asleep. Hope to drop back on-line when they discharge me in a couple or three days! Thanks for all the helpful discussions I've followed since I discovered OH; remember that your audience is a lot bigger than only the great group of folks who post! -- Foobear

Steve, Best of luck in the morning. Nice to see some other bears getting surgery. I'm treasurer of the Northeast Ursamen and will have my surgery late winter/early spring. I'm looking forward to hopefully going to Bear Week in Provincetown this summer and doin some struttin'.

You go, Steve! It's 1/2 an hour for ya now. Probably already doped up getting ready for the surgery. Man, this is gonna be the best thing you've ever done for yourself. Not an easy ride, but well worth it! Keeping you in my thoughts today and sending you positive energy from NY
