People say I am very hard to shop for...Russ is even worse. We are both not materialistic. I cannot stand having to think up things for people to give me this is what I can come up with......I want floor mats both rubber winter mats and carpeted mats for my new car...If I still have it in a month. I need a new charger for my laptop (I have a cat that loves the jolt of low current chargers) .....Um I am outta ideas do you know what you want for the holidays ? Are you hard to buy for ?? Do you know what you are giving to those close to you? (I am delibrately using "holidays".....There are many different religious holidays in the early winter time....It bugs me when the total focus is on the christian holiday....Putting the soap box away now.....)

I don't think I am hard to shop for. Especially this year, as I need clothes!! The only problem with that is I have no style or fashion. But then again, maybe not having a sense of style would make it easier for people to buy for me. Ya think? I don't really want anying in particular. Well, yes, I did, so I took care of it myself. My wedding rings were HUGE!! I stopped wearing my diamonds, as I was afraid I'd lose the ring. So, shopping for others on my list, I dropped 'em off @ Kay's to be resized from an 8 to a 7!! I put a big dent in my shopping this weekend, but still have more to do. I love giving to my circle of loved ones, but I HATE the shopping!!

Hmmm That's a good question... I HATE telling people what to buy for me. I sort of feel rude telling someone what I want..

That was weird.. Here is my entire message.. Hmmm That's a good question... I HATE telling people what to buy for me. I sort of feel rude telling someone what I want.. I know that it's not, but I think it stems back from my family growing up and not having much money. So anything I got I was grateful for- and I never would ask for anything in particular because we didn't have the money for it. Anywhoooo.. Enough of my family background... Ann doesn't have an issue telling me what she wants.. LOL.. I have a list a half mile long.. Hehe.. It's not that she expects me to get her everything on it- she says she just wants me to have options..(she's the best! ) Me on the other hand.. I love to SHOP!! I love fashion--sorry April .. And I am so excited because when I was at my heaviest I tried to stay with the newest fashions but I wasn't able to.. I am just glad now, that I can go into a store and Choose not to buy something because I don't like it-- Not because it doesn't fit... So Sean, not sure if I have answered your question yet or not haha, I am just rambling.. I hope that you all have a good night!! I am going to finish watching Most Extreme Makeover.. And then study until Brothers and Sisters comes on!! Tarka

We are too new at weight loss to need new clothes--we have a closet full of smaller sizes, so we really don't need anything. We decided to get tickets to a play in Chicago for each other. We'll spend Christmas day with our "family" here in town and just be grateful we have such wonderful friends.

I made it easy on Chris this year. We are not spending alot on each other since we have a wedding to pay for. I bought myself a new pocketbook that I fell in love with and told Chris that's what she bought me for Christmas. Works for me. The only other thing I want is some Bare Minerals makeup. I'm out of Mineral Veil and I want a blush and maybe some more eye shadow. I'm not ready for new clothes yet...I mean, I sure need new clothes that fit me, but I want to lose alot more before I invest in any type of wardrobe. Rachelle

If I could, I'd tell everyone I don't want to exchange gifts anymore. I dislike Christian holidays, especially Christmas (I was raised Roman Catholic.. yeah). But, if I HAVE to receive something, I just want practical stuff. I'd like an inexpensive elliptical so I don't have to brave the cold to get some exercise in. I've considered on more than one occasion to convert to Judaism. One day maybe.

I am all for gift cards especially to practical things like Kroger's Grocery Store or fun things like Barnes & Noble. I think cookbooks are always a welcome gift. A fantasy gift I want Santa to bring is a stationary recumbent bicycle. I am buying my wife a new piece of luggage and a ticket to fly to Georgia to see her best friend. I am also getting her a four-handed massage because she has fibromyalgia and hurts most of the time. Ann p.s. I would also accept panni removal.
