Favorite place to vacation

With the cold weather apon us and the chance for snow tonight. I was thinking about my vacation. I love going to our trailer in Florida it is relaxing and we go and see family. We also have gone to China. I would recomend going to China. It was a wonderful trip....even when people came up to me on several occasions and commented "YOU SO BIG" I definetly do not have a typical Chinese build. Me dream vacation is to go to Australia. I hope for our 15th we will be able to go... WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO GO ON VACATION ? WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DREAM VACATION ?

My 2 favorite places are Greece and Maui. Dream vacation would be a driving vacation through South Africa's garden route with a detour to Kruger. I've been to SA before, but did not have a chance to drive the Garden Route.

I went to Maine once, and also to Onset a few times.. but that's it. I'd LOVE to go to England, Ireland, Scotland and Japan I've never even been on a plane, and the furthest I've been from my house is Washington, DC! I'm lame!

I think one of the best trips I've ever taken was KEY WEST. It was really nice. The week we went there was a "cold spell" so it was nice and breezy....champagne sunset cruises....drag shows....relaxing and people watching..... I think it was the perfect combination of the right place at a time when a break was much needed.... I wanna go back. WAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Orlando for the theme parks and Washinton DC for the monuments and museums were out two best vacations as a couple. We'd love to travel overseas--I want to see the British isles and Europe, Anne wants to see Austraila.

My favorite place was when I went to St.Marrtin in the early 80's. I was thin almost anorexic back then. I even wore speedos while I was there!

I have two extremes--Italy is the best place I've been and I'd go back in a minute! My really favorite place that is close and affordable and possible is Door County, WI. It is a pennisula between Lake Michigan and Sturgeon Bay. The bay side is slighter warmer and the lake side is cooler, so we stay on the lake and shop on the bay. It is an artist colony grown slighter bigger, but basically all the shops and galleries are great--not junky. The restaurants are all local from diners to elegance and everything in between. There are all kinds of outdoors activities dealing with woods and water, as well as hiking and picnics. We go in all seasons, although it is quiet in winter. We rent a place with a fireplace and take a stack of books and just hang out. DC is about 4 hours north of Chicago.

I think for me it would be a tie between Maui and New York City. I love the ocean and the beautiful, various landscapes of Maui, but I also like the excitement of the city that comes with New York (and BROADWAY!!! HellOO, people?!?) Good topic!

my favorite place to vacation is bonnaroo. if you don't know what bonnaroo is you can google their website and read all about it. but basically, it's a farm in manchester, tennessee where me and 100,000 of my closest friends gather the second weekend in june every year to camp and to see and hear some awesome musicians, comedians and art and to basically just "get away from it all" so to speak...

I have not really been anywhere. Just the opposite of my hottie man husband who has been everywhere. I am originally from WV and live in NY, so I suess I've been through the entire state of PA...LOL Niagra Falls is great & I did go to VA Beach one Labor Day weekend. Loved it! It was the best place in the world to me. My dream trip would be to NYC. If I ever get there, then I'd love to go to Ireland.
