Hello all. I apologize for not posting; however, classes were kicking my behind and MIND. Just finished finals on this past Tuesday and classes are going to startup for me again on Wednesday. This is my last class requirement prior to beginning work on my thesis. Medical update -- I'm all healthy. I had my 8th month post-op exam on October 25th and I weighed an even 200 llbs -- loss of 87. Unfortunately, I've been so tired I haven't worked out in about 4 weeks. Between work and class -- the spirit is willing; however, the body is saying no. But Monday I plan on getting back in the gym. I believe it helped to alleviate the gas and I've been having a lot of problems with gas. For a minute the enzyme pills seemed to work and then I don't know what happened. So I'm going to begin my experiment tomorrow to see if exercising will get rid of it. So it looks as if I'm on course to become a member of the hundred pound club over the next 4 months. That will be cool. I'll try an take a picture at some point this week and get it posted for all to see. I'm down to about a size 16 but I haven't purchased any size 16 clothing since I just purchased some 18s. I also to announce and invite those in the Baltimore/DC area that there is a bowling league called League of Women Bowlers. We are the only female league in the Capital Area Rainbow Association. I hadn't bowled in over 20 years until I joined this league: so just because you haven't bowled in a long time doesn't mean you've forgotten how. We are still looking for a 10th team and my team could use 2 members as well. We bowl on Sundays at Laurel Lanes @ 2 PM. Here is the website: http://leagueofwomenbowlers.org/default.aspx It's a lot of fun and you get to socialize and compete in a safe environment. Please check out the website and I hope some will be able to join us. And if you just want to come and hang out with us and cheer on the teams -- we welcome you as well. Also, we will be hosting a New Year's Eve party - location and cost to be determined later. Have a Blessed week.

One of my bestest friends recently started bowling. She doesn't need to lose weight, size 3, damn her! But after the 1st week she said her arms felt like spaghetti noodles! She said, skinny is easy for her, but she never realized how out of shape she was!!

Yes, it can get your heart rate to going and give your arm as well as your legs nice work out. Being skinny doesn't mean one is in shape -- she just skinny.
