anyone wanna fess up???
OK I admit it, I fell off the wagon yesterday. I fell off it and right into a pile of halloween candy. I didn't just fall off, I drove the wagon right off a cliff. Sadly the wagon was destroyed in the accident. The good news is I have a new wagon this morning. It's bright and glittery and rainbow colored. So back to the hard work of weight loss today. I had my fun and now move forward.
Anyone else fall off their wagons? Come on...I can't be the only one....or am I????
Paul
i think i did very well last night. i didn't have any candy until after we got home and sorted through it all. and even then i only had a kit-kat miniature and only after it'd been in the fridge and got nice and cold
pre-op i would go through 2-3 BAGS of kit-kat miniatures BEFORE halloween and then go buy the cheap leftover bags the day after and eat all of them. so... i may have fallen off the wagon BUT i didn't fall too far away from it and i didn't bust it either.
the way i'm looking at it now is, i'm at goal and nothing's off limits as long as it's in moderation and as long as i account for it in my fitday and find some way to balance it out, either through exercise or adding more protein or something.
Paul,
I did real well for Halloween...only had one small candy bar that someone gave the wife. We handed out full size and the leftovers are still on the table. They'll make their way to work for others tomorrow.
Candy isn't so much my problem as crackers. Since I went below my goal, I can't get enough. I try to weigh every fews days just so I don't go over my comfort zone. When I get near it, I buckle down for a couple days and get back on track.
It's great that you realize what happened so fast and have a new wagon already. Knowing what to do is half the battle. Good luck.

LMAO love the wagon description. I am pre-op and trying to keep my weight off. I haven't even been near the stores to keep me good. Now is the worse time since everything is half off. In the old days, read last year, I would have been there last night after work getting 2 or 3 bags of candy. ***mutters to self "I will NOT cave"***
I'm still chasing after that damn wagon trying to climb back on.
Halloween night I ate 2 mini Almond Joys, 1 mini Kit-Kat, 2 Bit O Honeys, and a mini Crunch bar
Yesterday, I took all the candy to work so I wouldn't have it around the house to tempt me. However, when I went to CVS to pick up a prescription, I felt compelled to buy a Dove Dark Chocolate bar and I ate the whole thing (it wasn't mini)
***sigh***
On the positive side, I almost bought a piece of pecan pie today, but I stayed strong and I left it alone.
