I am getting ready to do another invite to the general public. I would like input.

It is time for me to go out hunting again. I want some input into what other boards I should post on. I was thinking of hitting some of the State boards. Do you think it is worth it.......I do not want to be on a fundamentalist**** list......or entice haters to lurk

I recommend not posting invites on the boards of the deep south states TN, AL, GA, NC, SC, LA, KY, MS, or on the boondock states of SD, ND, or WY. Reaction there is more likely to be negative.

Things were more open in NC than they are in Ohio! Or maybe that was because I was in a college town. LOL

Sean, I think it is a good idea. I saw your first request i the men's group. Perhaps you can extend an invitation to all those who are lurking to step forward because they will be welcomed. I am so glad that I joined this forum. Doug

I'm new to the boards but have been lurking for awhile. I would say only posting to certain state boards and not others is the kind of exclusion that is not good to create. Besides, it may be folks in the more traditionally conservative areas that need the support more. Just my $.02

I concur with Alice. Invite everyone, or invite no one. It's the poor souls in the Red states who need support, far more than our brethren and sistren in the Blue states. Besides, if you start getting heat, you can always block the haterz.

I don't disgree that us poor red state people need this board the most--but Sean got his feelings hurt over negative comments last time--was just trying to protect him. I think most people on the state boards also hang out on surgery type boards and would see the announcement there, whereas the rednecks I rub elbows with daily could get ugly if they feel we have invaded "their" space on those states' boards.
