Music!!

I'm sorry, but with the TV/movies and reading threads, this one needs to be done! My current favorite artist is Darren Hayes! I have all his albums on repeat (especially the new double album), including those when he was in Savage Garden. My music tastes range from Justin Timberlake and Pink, to Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance, to Boyzone, Westlife and Will Young (my music tastes are all over the place!), and even some Japanese music, like Dir en grey and Mika Nakashima. I won't make another stupid thread, I promise!!

I LOVE MUSIC.....I sang in a madrigal group for 10 years...We sang basically drinking songs and raunchy love/sex songs from the 16 and 1700's....Major classcal works Handel and John Rutter..I also love standards...Ella Fitzgerald...Billie Holiday.....I love the Beatles.....Billy Joel....disco..80's music...and tonight I went to the last preformance of American Idols on tour.....IT WAS AWSOME !!!

Ella is amazing! I saw American Idols live in concert a few years back, the one where Fantasia won (the third season). It was the only season of Idol I ever watched.

This isn't a stupid thread at all. Don't be silly. I like classic rock. I'm really into the Rolling Stones and AC/DC. Love 80's music...what we called alternative like Blondie, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, etc.

I must be channeling one of my wonderful gay male friends who proudly identified as "a queen" before he passed away because I love show tunes. I walk to the soundtrack of Dreamgirls and of Chicago blaring on the earphones. I find it really motivating and I never get tired of either. Annie Lennox as well as Queen Latifah are coming to town. I would give so much to see either of them in concert. I just don't fit in the seats. Why buy a ticket to be miserable or make the person next to me uncomfortable. The last concert I saw was years ago at Starplex which is outdoors so plenty of room. It was a triple bill with Chaka Kahn, Barry White, and Gladys Knight. It was an amazing!

I like classic rock, 70's and 80's pop, 90's boybands... but 90+% of the time, I'm listening to showtunes. I have an XM satellite radio, and it's almost always tuned to the "On Broadway" station when I'm in the car. My collection of cast albums and soundtracks is bigger than my collection of everything else.
