I know that doesn't sound like a great topic to talk about.. But I have a question.. The other day I was eating dinner and SHAME ON ME... I ate it way to fast! All of a sudden I got this weird TOO FULL yucky feeling in my pouch.. It was like up under my ribs.. And so, I thought,, "am I going to throw up??" So I went into the bathroom, sat in front of the toilet and then I gagged and this WHITE FOAM came up.....!!!!! What's up with that???? What was that??? I have no idea so, I hope someone could tell me.. And it wasn't acidic.. Is that what it's like to throw up..?? I had no food just that.. And only one "gag' if you will... Hmmm thanks for the help!! The foam is just an accumulation of mucous, usually from anesthesia for weeks after surgery. I'm 3+months out and it still happens.

Tarka... You got the foamies.....nasty little F**kers aren't they.... Ok if you eat to fast, your little opening (stoma) may get covered up...maybe you didn;t chew good, maybe too fast, maybe something gluey...well it cloggs up, and jsut like the shower drain...you spit collects, and up it comes...usually, the little heaving action is enought to uncove the hole, and youfeel better immediately.... i'm 2 1/2 years out....If I get froggy, and eat too fast...I get it too...my tool still works' Hope this helps Russ

Hey Tarka...that just happened to me too! The foamies...icky icky icky. Then yesterday for the first time, I actually vomitted. I was eating a veggie burger like I have many times before. Well, I must have taken too big a bite and I got the worst pain and they foamies and within 10 minutes everything came back up. Ahhhh, felt much better after that. Rachelle

I know in the lap band world, we call it sliming, and it's your body's reaction to getting stuck.
