HOW A FAT COMMENT RUINED MY DAY

I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK...IT IS AN HOUR + RIDE IN TRAFFIC.....THERE IS AN 18 WHEELER IN FRONT OF ME....THE ROAD SPILT INTO 2 LANES AND I PASSED HIM........IN MY ITTY BITTY LITTLE CAR...WELL THIS MUST HAVE PISSED HIM OFF....HE PULLED UP NEXT TO ME AT A LIGHT ........"LEARN TO DRIVE YOU FAT F**k" I LIVE IN MASS AND WE ARE KNOWN AS M******** ON THE ROADS.......I COULD HAVE CARED LESS IF HE TOLD ME TO F**K OFF.......IT WAS THE FAT COMMENT THAT REALLY HIT ME HARD......WELL AT LEAST THE DRIVER OF THE 18 WHEELER LOOKED LIKE A 'BIG OLD MESS".......HAVE ANY OF YOU RUN INTO A "FAT" COMMENT LATELY...I WAS A LIITLE SHOCKED AT HOW MUCH IT HURT ME......BUT ON A GREAT NOTE I AM DOWN TO 267.....29LBS DOWN SINCE SURGERY...I HAVE MY 1ST POST OP TOMORROW AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING....

"Fat" is the first slur unimaginative people hurl to hurt others, it's easy and it's still acceptable--which sux. He's just an idiot! And Sean, even Nicole Ritchie would look like a fatass in an "itty bitty little car"--hello, that's why she drives that big 'ol benz hummer looking thing... solution is simple - me thinks you need to get behind the wheel of a bigger car. PS- My Honda Element makes me look really tiny...

Congratulations on your 29 lbs lost!!!! That is awesome. Concentrate on that instead of the idiot. Your doc will be pleased! I'm only down 18 since surgery, but then I had already lost quite a bit, so I didn't expect a whole lot. But it is coming steady. Keep up the good work. And I agree, you will soon be slim, but he'll still be a pr*ck!

Oh Sean I feel ya! Big time! Same thing happened to me- about 3 months ago- down 185 lbs, post LBL and other PS- Was driving and some witch that was driving like a maniac pulled along side me and called out "Fat *****" I was so taken aback- had almost forgotten to expect that crap- and it set me off on a week long depression and eating binge.... then I thought about how she looked ...LOL Old hag! LOL People are miserable- they just wanna drag us down too... I say, screw em all!! Dont let it get ya down- from experience I can tell ya it is so NOT worth it!!! Margie
