TO ALL THE NEWBIES !!!

Hi everyone......I am sean...I have been with my husband 13 years...I had a lapband placed 8/29...I am doing great I have lost about 26 lbs....I am a child psychiatric nurse at childrens hospital boston...I love where I work and what I do.......I live in mass. And have been married for 3 years....Look back at some of the recent posts...You can always repost an older post to keep it going.....Please chime in on the fmla question if any of you have ideas......You will also meet the "regulars" rachelle (purple passion) nadine, russ, lisa.......The board was quiet when I "came back" after being away for a couple of months.......Please help us figure out what we want this board to be.....No-one bites......Except russ...But only if you like that kinda thing

hey sean--i have a nurse-question for you (seeing you're child psychiatry)..... my sister (who lives 16 hours from me so we see each other very seldomly) suspects her daughter (who is 14) is bulemic. She's exhibited lots of physical and emotional clues (I'll spare you the details). Do you have any suggestions on where to turn for help? Should she take her to a pediatrician, a physician, a psychiatrist? I don't know what type of advice to give her. I'm a nurse--but the orthopedic type. thanks for any advice!
