Wow, I see this board has dwindled down to nothing (my own self included) and those who I used to see on here are no where to be found. Life is going well for me. I am 18 months out - down about 170. I recently in the last few months have had a trend upward -- but it is ALL MY FAULT - due to not eating the right foods, the right amount and grazing at work TOO MUCH. Got myself back on track and am tracking everything with weigh****chers online program. Must say it's working great! IN the last week I have lost 4 of the 8-10 that crept back on. I never lost as much weight as I wanted to either -- all because I stopped being uber careful what I ate. So, I am hoping by watching it I can still work this tool to it's full advantage and LOSE LOSE LOSE. Life is great post-op. My partner and my relationship is 100% better -- even though it was awesome before. We can do SO MUCH more now. I can and do do most of the housework, we joined a gym and work out together. I guess I can't explain how much better life has become for us. Our sex life tho, has dwindled down to nothing. It wasn't great before surgery because I was so embarrassed of myself and did not know how anyone would want to look at me....and now, well, I deal with a lot of anxiety and am on meds to help me with it, but part of the issue of those is low sex drive. Luckily I have a very understanding partner, but I would like to be more "involved" with her. Anyone else have this issue post-op and if so - what did you do? I am thinking of talking to my physician about switching meds for my anxiety to see if there is another one that won't affect my sex drive so much. I know she finds me irresistable now (and did before) and I'm still very attracted to her. *sigh* Anyways, just checking in and saying HI! *waves hand* Hope all "family" is great and if yer a lurker and remember me - say hi...if you're not - say hi too! New friends are great as well!

O.K. I do not know if it is a wise tail or not.....but make sure to get enough Zinc and B vitamins.....SUPPOSEDLY helps with the sex drive.....And if you take an antidepressant for anxiety.....talk to the Dr. about looking at a different one...AND TALK THERAPY IS A MUST !!! IT WILL HELP YOU TO FIGURE OUT....WHY YOU ARE ANXIOUS......tHANK YOU FOR COMING BY AND HOPE TO SEE YOU ON THE BOARD AGAIN ..Sean

Hi Jen. I'm glad to hear that life is going well for you. I don't have any advice for you in the sex drive dept. I haven't have a sex drive in over a year. You and Nick are such a cute couple. Hope you two really enjoy the gym and it kicks you into high gear again. Rachelle
