Hello all from Baltimore! I have been around OH for about 5 months and did not know this board was here. Good to find it. I am just 3 weeks post op and my partner is going in for his on 9-17. Thought I would say hello. Any one else from the Mid Atlantic region (MD DC VA DE PA)?

Hey Rachelle, It has been interesting over the past 3 weeks or so since surgery. I am eating fine. I have to learn to eat slower and chew better. I do not like protein shakes so my diet is rather protein rich a lot of seafood and poultry and snack on cheese and peanut butter. Thanks for asking. So far I am down 30lbs as of today.

You are right around the corner. Owings Mills here and I'm 7 months out. Having a great time with the weight loss experience and you will too. Just keep doing what you're doing and all will be well. Wow the 17th -- that's in a few days. You two are going to enjoy the changes that you will see in each other. Continue your fluids and walking and you'll be GREAT! Don't overdue it on the exercising; give yourself about another week or so before introducing weights -- you really want to work on cardio and that will keep you from getting so tired.
