The good, the bad and the ugly
The good: I lost three pounds last week but I am still at 133. Let's see if I can get past that 131 low mark! I went to the doctor and she decided to discontinue my cholesterol meds.
The bad: My HbA1C test was terrible. It actually went up since last time, which surprised me. I am now on Byetta (non-insulin injectible) in addition to my oral meds. The up side is that one of the side effects of Byetta is weight loss. After a few days, it is already controlling by glucose levels better. Pam and I are going to join a gym in an effort to get a fitness program going.
The ugly: My plastic surgery consult. It never actually happened. I went to the center, checked in and waited for almost an hour without actually seeing anyone. I decided that was a really bad sign and left. No apologies or explanations were ever given.

Sheryl!
First of all, CONGRATS on the wonderful weight loss. You look amazing and are a true inspiration!
As far as the test - I think your doctor will have that under control for you in no time. Regardless, you are doing SO GREAT!
And the third - well, I am just a bit over the top sometimes, but I would have been *****slapping them all over the office. I don't like when a doctor decides to make an appointment, and I make an effort to be there at HIS convenience, and then he leaves me sitting there. And you sat there for an hour over your appointment? You sure do have patience! Wow - those kinds of things just rattle my cage!
At any rate, you look great, and you are a WINNER!
