HELLO Gay People!!!

I've been lurking on the OH Board for a few months and never realized that there was GL Message Board. I had to pinch myself I was so happy! I'm a 44 year old Lesbian living in the Seattle area, happily partnered, on my Journey to RNY Surgery hopefully in October. (Crossing Fingers) I have 90% of the required tests completed so hopefully my surgery will be sooner then later. Anyways...If anyone wants to chat and talk about WLS or just say HI, come on over. Welcome Chubby! I'm working towards surgery myself. If everything goes right with the insurance, I will be having surgery in 3 weeks October will be here before you know it. Is your partner on board with you having surgery? Rachelle

Thanks so much for the welcome. WOW only 3 weeks before your surgery? I sure hope everything goes well with your insurance. My insurance is Group Health, it's a good health plan but seems like it takes forever to get to the "Big Dance" My partner is very supportive with my surgery. I couldn't do it without her. She is the best!! She is planning to take a one month leave from her job when I have surgery to take care of me. I love it when she waits on me lol Anyway.....thanks again for the welcome and I look forward to hearing more about your journey.
