What has changed for you since your journey began. For me, I see a light at the end of the tunnel. After having such a horrible year last year (I had my heart attack, I lost my nephew in a jet ski accident), this if finally going to be my year to get my life back. Share with me oh beautiful ones. Girlfriend, this year for you will ROCK!! Put on those sunglasses cuz your future is that bright. You will join us on the losers bench, make lots of new friends, and have a brand new attitude. So, fasten your seatbelt, it's going to be a bumpy but beautiful ride for you!

What's different for me now -- one of my co-workers looking at me and asking "did you lose more weight over the weekend?" And this smile comes across my face like you've never seen before.

After I stopped going out with friends and just staying at home because I didn't feel comfortable I knew I had to do something. Last year I went on a serious diet and lost weight but I knew that I needed something much more. I realized that I needed the tool of WLS. When I made the decision to have the surgery, I slowly started to dream about the future again. My partner is 100% behind me about my decision, I don't know If I could do it with her.
