OMG there is a GLBT board

Hi Patti. I'm Jessica. This board has been here for a long time; but this site is completely restructured since I was last here about 3 years ago. This board was pretty active then...we'll have to get to work and waking up the crowd and getting them talking!! You recently had your surgery I can see. Did you have it in Minnesota? I'm going to Mexico for mine because my insurance won't cover it for the 3rd time---so I'm outta here and headed south of the border!! Congratulations on that whopping 18 pounds!! My surgery date is July 16th! I'm getting excited. I'll have the RNY lap. Why was yours open? I'm starting out at 315#... Maybe the two week clear liquid diet will knock off about 10 pounds! Hi Jessica, Thanks for responding to my post. I had pretty much given up on getting a response . I live in Minneapolis so that's why I got my surgery here. Shannon and I both wanted to have the same Doctor and She only qualified for the one who did open's. Dr Buchwald is pretty old but he's very experienced and there are advantages and disadvantages to both open & Lap. surgeries. You're having this surgery for the third time? Or did I read that wrong??? I've heard good things about surgery in the other countries and I hope yours goes well. Patti

I'm happy to hear that you have made it to a surgery date I know how long you have worked and waited for this time.
