Flooding in NJ
We had some major flooding where I live. After the Nor'Easter on Sunday, the back yard was a lake and we got a little bit of water in the basement. Nothing like Hurricane Floyd thank God. Things have gotten worse since then and the river near us has overflowed.
Went to work Monday and everything was fine. Chris's job had a little flooding, so they closed. Yesterday, Tuesday, we both went to work and I told my job that I would be leaving early because they were starting to close some roads near my house due to flooding. At 1:00 a 40 minute commute took me 2.5 hours. This morning, they closed even more roads. Now it seems that every road coming into my town is closed.
I'm staying home today. I'm not chancing not being able to get home.
