New Member Here

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Chris. Although I have been visiting this site for the past couple of months, I've just now gotten my profile together and the nerve to post here. I started the process for WLS in May of last year and, after all of that hard work, am scheduled for surgery this coming Monday, March 19. I'm pretty excited and not as axious as I had been. And I owe it all to y'all. I've read so many of your stories here, and the information I've gotten from them has been much more valuable than any of the numerous medical web sites I've been to. There's something to be said for personal experience. Best of luck to all of those stuck in the pre-surgery quagmire and keep up the hard work to all of those on the other side. I'll see y'all there soon.

CONGRATULATIONS I was pretty excited as well when I had my surgery 4 weeks ago this Tuesday and I was more excited than nervous because I knew this would change my life and it has. I saw people yesterday that I hadn't seen in 3-4 years and they didn't recognize me. It was pretty cool.
