Good morning all! Rise and shine Today's question. If you could change just one thing about your job (or school) what would it be? I love my job. The only thing I would change is the commute. Average drive is 40 minutes each way. That's with no traffic. If there is traffic it could take well over an hour. YUK! Rachelle

I agree -the only thing I would change is the commute - again about 50 min no traffic but can be 90 min with traffic and construction. or 3 1/2 hours last week with the snow. That was an exceptionally bad day. best to all - happy daylight savings time -love to see the extra light! Chris Davitt

Good morning! hmm, I would change my office...I love my job, but I have an office, deep in a building, with no windows, okay not exactly true, no windows that actually show you the outside, just the hallway or the next office...and sadly, they have painted them all. Yes, painted. Right over them. I was so excited about them painting over the 40 year old sticky grey, that I just sort of stood there as they painted the windows...with my head ****ed to one side like golden retriever...and then I remembered to be grateful for the CLEAN paint :>) But I would love to be able to see outside. Sunshine. Rain, Anything... Maybe I could do a mural... Namaste, Donna

The commute, without question. Somedays I am VERY lucky and it's about 35 minutes. There are days when it's 1.5 hours, like this past Friday. It's hard not to let it ruin the rest of the day when that happens, but I am getting better at it.

Hello GLBT MB!! It must be spring break, 'cuz I actually have time to be on the boards!! If you could change just one thing about your job (or school) what would it be? I am a full time student. I will be starting nursing school in the fall, so there is not a damned thing I would change!! I have been working towards this for the last year and a half, so I am super excited!! XOXOXO, Sharyn

Which job? My private practice - wouldn't change anything - but that's only a few hours a week. My regular job? - the pay, no question about it - I work for a non-profit and you don't get rich doing that - but, I get a whole lot of non-monetary satisfaction so there is some balance. Commute?? What's that? I walk 4 blocks to work!! Steve

I love my job and although my boss says he is easy going.. sometimes he gets bugs up his butt about things. I wi**** were salary based instead of time based. I work that way anyway. I never ask for over time but the boss gets bent if I leave early.. go figure.
