Congratulations Rachelle- I am 39 today so my surgery is my birthday present to myself. I am a single mom of 4 kids livinghere in the Bay Area. Congratulations on your up comming life changing events im excited for you Carol

Hello Carol and welcome to the board. We are getting here about the same time. I'm 2 weeks post-op and am sure you will be fine. Great birthday gift for yourself and why not! After 4 kids, you should give yourself anything you want and this is a perfect gift --other than a few million dollars. I had lap RNY and so the healing is going great.
