I have a date !
February 15 is my big day !
I have been fighting
for this for almost 2 years,which I know is less than some but still feels like a lifetime.I have fought my insurance,my HR dept. and even the Missouri Senate-with no luck.
It took my partner getting a new job for this to happen for me. Her insurance plan covers WLS and domestic partners.And she LOVES the job-a plus.
I really thank Sherry for sharing her journey because she was able to get her WLS in the same manner with the same insurance company-United Healthcare. I would not have known how easy it was once you got the right company. It's amazing.

Dannielle, that is fabulous that you finally have a date after 2 years of fighting!! I want to commend you on not giving up. You will find that it will be the best thing you ever do for yourself!!! Good luck to you and keep us posted on your progress!!
