Perhaps those who said I was making a big deal over nothing last week were right. I'm down to 141 now which is a loss of five pounds since last week. I'm having a lot of trouble figuring these things out. I'm not sure exactly what I did differently to lose the weight this week and gain so much last week. It's a mystery. I have made an effort to eat fewer simple carbs (done okay with pasta, bread and such but not so good with sweets). It's colder, so maybe I'm shivering it off Who knows! I'm just happy on a downward trend again. How did you do? 218/208/141/115 4'10"

That is the way it works sometimes isn't it? My remedy is to make sure I am really working hard at the gym, increase my protien and fiber, decrease my carbs, and wait it out. Between those three I usually do ok. I too had a break through this week, though not as signficant... I lost 1.5 lbs, which hopefully means I have broken my plataue... Now down to 223.5/5'11 max weight 375 surgery weight 336 goal weight 180

Hi Congrats on the weight loss!! I was loosing 1 lb a week for 1 1/2 months and it was driving me crazy. So I started eating more calories, up my protein and added some carbs and now my weight lose has been great. One week- 4 lbs. then -6 lbs. and Monday I lost 5 lbs. It's either that or also the shivering. It's freezing. Kay 450/388/219/175ish
