OMG...

I own a pink shirt!! Hit the huge clearance sale at Old Navy this weekend and wound up coming home with, among other things, a pink polo shirt - size Large. I never EVER thought I'd buy a pink freakin shirt...but I gotta admit, it looks good on me! - Kelly

Hey Kelly, Way to go! I understand the pink thing. I've been wearing more pink, yellow and red, but I haven't actually been shopping yet. Everything I have to wear is hand-me-down, which is really great, but doesn't give me a lot of choice color-wise. I'm not complaining mind you, 'cause it has been wonderful not to have to spend the $ on clothes that won't fit all too soon, it's just that some of the things are not a style or color that I would normally choose. I went to your profile again (it's been quite a while) and then to your live journal, but couldn't find any pics. I would love to see pics of your progress, 'cause I know it must be pretty dramatic. You are doing a terrific job!!!!! I admire you for the way you have been handling this challenge. You have been working hard and now you are seeing the wonderful results!! I don't usually update the OH profile, it's hard enough just updating my LJ! *chuckles* But, if you'd like to see a pic - I finally posted one on the LJ - my friend Chris took it for me last night while I was over at her house. Looking great there, Kelly. Congrats on the new pink shirt. I have always worn a lot of color, along with the typical fat lady black, but I can understand the idea of just now wearing bright colors. Keep up the good work.

LOL...I just recently got my girlfriend to buy a pink shirt. It went against her butch rules handbook but she did it anyway! The color is fantastic on her and I think she looks great in it. Although, I have yet to see her wear it more than once! I think we'll discuss that tonight!
