Has anyone experienced this?

Good morning everyone. I had my surgery on April 12th of this year and I have lost 75 pounds, which makes me very happy. But I have been felling like my rib cage is moving. I have never experienced this before. I have read that your bones adjust to expand as you gain weight, so I have to assume that the same can be said if you loose a lot of weight ( I know I should not assume). Has anyone else experienced this? or am I crazy?

Uh, Ulises can you explain a little more on what you mean by feeling your rib cage moving? Do you mean you can feel it when you breath or take deep breath's? Thanks, Kelly

Hi not when I breath, when I am streching my arm to reach for something, It's not pain, I can just fell like the bones are moving slightly.

It's just your rib cage moving as it's supposed to. You probably notice it more now because you've lost weight. But if you are truly worried I'd suggest putting in a call to your Dr.

Ulises, I notice my ribs a lot more now that I've lost weight. I think you are probably just more aware of them. They have probably always moved but our extra padding covered them up. Congratulations on the 75lb lose. That is awesome. Chip

Thanks. It's good to loose the weight and I feel much better and I have more energy, but it is also funny to experience those little things that are normal to everyone but I never felt before.
