Roll Call!

Anybody out there? How is everyone doing? I am doing pretty good - I have lost 50 pounds in 10 weeks! YAY!! Very happy about that. I don't have to work tomorrow and I get paid for it! YAY!! Excited about that since usually I only have one day off a week - sunday - this week I get 2! Today I had my first experience with returning clothes I got for my birthday because they were too BIG!! I ended up getting two tops for work - in a size lower than my previous size - it is only one size - but I am content with that. That is all my exciting stuff - anybody out there tonight? Hey Andrea.. Your doing great with your weight loss Isn't it wonderful to return clothes because they are too big?? I haven't said something was too big for me in a LONG time. Now I say it all the time. I had to break down and buy jeans yesterday because my old ones were too big. I cant believe I'm almost 8 months out! Time has gone by so fast. I've lost 126 lbs so far and gone from a size 32 to a 22. Like you, I'm very content with that. I'm up late packing stuff for Labor Day. We are going to spend the day at the lake grilling, fishing and probably swimming if the water is not too cold. It should be a pretty relaxing day. Have a nice Monday off!! Hi Kay, Thank you and yes - it was fun to return the clothes and pick out something in a smaller size. I went through my closet yesterday and found a bunch of clothes still with tags (I knew they were there - just ignored them cause I could never wear them) and in the way back jeans ranging from size 16 to 24 - so I will have nice clothes to wear either now with some of them or very soon with some others. Sounds like you had a fun Labor Day - I was just happy to be off from work and hung around the house. 126 pounds is amazing - I hope I lose that much in the next 5 months! I will be amazed. Hey Andrea! Isn't that great! YOu are doing such a wonderful job. Can't wait until I join you (won't be until sometime next year, that's for sure). Today me and my partner are going to look at new cars. We want to check out the Toyota Prius Hybrid, Honda Civic and Honda Civic Hybrid. Right now one of us is driving the pick up truck to work and it is not very fuel efficient. Now that we both have a commute, it will be more economical to have 2 fuel efficient cars to drive. Other than that, it's relax, relax, relax. We did all our social family stuff on Sat and Sun, so today is all ours. Have a great one and enjoy the day off. Rachelle

Hi, just checking in. My 1-year anniversary was 8/26 and I'm down 145 pounds. From size 32w to 14 regular misses. I celebrated by shopping at Coldwater Creek and spent a fortune--my first big splurge since surgery. Today is the 2-year anniversary of my commitment ceremony with my partner Rose. We celebrated by moving my stuff out of my apartment and officially ending our 6-month separation. Ok, I've been back at the house for a couple months now, but I still have stuff on the other side of town. It's good to bring that to closure.
