Blood test results

Hey everyone, just wanted to update on my lump on my throat. I finally got the blood test results back, everything was fine and in normal range. I still have to go this coming Tuesday and have an ultrasound done on my throat. I am hopeful that everything there will also turn out to be ok. Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers. I can understand what you are going through. About two weeks before I had my inital consultation with the surgeon for the gastric bypass, I found that one side of my thyroid was more prominent than the other. I was really afraid that this was something that was going to prevent the surgery. It felt so big that it began to be a little difficult to swallow. I wasn't sure what to do about it. I knew that I should have told the surgeon about it, but, like I said, I didn't want it to put off the surgery. I had worked so hard to get it. Turns out, I didn't have to mention it to the surgeon at all because he found it on his own. But he said that it was nothing to worry about and when they did the blood work for my pre op testing, my thyroid results turned out normal. Funny thing about it, though, is that after my initial consultation, that lump on my throat went away and I no longer has trouble swallowing. Now the lump is completely gone. So I'm sure that everything will be fine with yours too. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, though. It doesn't hurt to have a few extra prayers in your favor. Rhonda
