Roll Call / 4th of July

Hey family, I haven't seen a lot of faces in a few days so I thought I'd do a roll call to see who's lurking this weekend. HOw is everyone doing?? I'm great! What exciting weekend plans and 4th of July plans do you have?? What's going on new in your life?? Well I'm ready to go back to work so after the holiday I'm going to start looking for a job. I'm a little nervous about that because I haven't worked a full time job in years. I quit working because weighing 450 was killing my legs, knees and back. I've lost 170 lbs and I'm ready to get out there again!! I work for NY Times newspaper from home on my computer and go to the office once a week but thats not what I want to do. I'm ready to get out there!! As far as the 4th, Stephanie, me and a few friends are going to the lake early that morning to BBQ, fish and swim. Then later we are going uptown to chill and watch the fireworks. Today we are staying home relaxing on the couch and watch movies. Ok, it's your turn! Who's out there?? Kay 450/388/280/175ish

Just chilling for the weekend. My daughter is with me today. Tomorrow, I'm taking her to the local amusement park, Kentucky Kingdom. Monday, its off to Indianapolis for a concert. Then, Tuesday, its off to Lexington, Kentucky for the 4th Parade. The route goes directly in front of the gay bar, and we are always a very vocal and visual presence for the parade. Immediately afterwards, its party party party...with a kick ass drag show. Wednesday, its back to work (not looking forward to that. I love my job, but I'm an appellate prosecutor. Working on an appeal of a couple who molested a bunch of their karate school students. Gonna do my best to keep these scum in prison. Child sex abuse cases are NEVER pleasant work).

Hey Kay, I just wanted to say congrats on again on your weightloss journey. For the holidays will be barbequeing in the back yard, on monday. Then on tuesday we will head out to the park were there will be alot of activites, the petting zoo and fireworks, we are going to start out early in the morning and end the day with firework. I really don't know how much walking I will be able to do because I still have a cane and I am on crutches.

Kay, The weekend is over but I wanted to reply anyway. I am so excited, yesterday I went to the Salem Fair. (which is like a carnaval) and it was so much fun. I actually rode rides and had a really good time. I did however find myself sizing up other women who got off rides. For a slight moment, I wanted to make sure that I would be able to fit into the rides. It worked out. Then today (Tuesday) I am going to a cook out with some friends from work, then going to watch the fire works. Hope your fourth is great!! Melissa
