3 months Check Up goal down the drain
Hi Family
I have really had a hard time with surgery, I shouldn't really say that because my surgery was a blessing. I have had a few bumps in the road. The first bump was the dreaded stricture once that was done I found that I could finally eat. Then I had a brace put on my leg from falling a radio shack on some sign that the manager left on the floor. The brace had to stay on for 3 weeks. This was really hard on me because I love working out this prevented me from working out. I went to the Dr. on Wensday, he put a cast on my leg, the cast will be on for 1 months 25 more days. Yes i am counting the day because it is soooo unbearable. This has really slowed down the process of my weightloss, I started off at 431 pre op, on my surgery day I was 401, today I weight 330, my goal was to be in the 200s in my 3 month. If i was working out this goal would have been accomplished. I have lost a total 101 pounds, that is such a blessing. I am down 71 pounds since surgery, which again is a true blessing. I am just so mad at that unprofessional manager at radio shack who left the signs on the floor. OHHHH THERE IS ONE GOAL THAT I ACCOMPLISHED AND IT WAS A WOW MOMENT, I was on the phone talking all of a sudden my girl said OMG, YOU HAVE YOUR LEGS CROSSED. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT i COULD CROSS MY LEGS NOW. I JUST WANTED TO UPDATE YOU I LOVE THIS BOARD YOU ARE ALL LIKE FAMILY TO ME.
Hey Sherry
Congratulations on the weight loss and crossing your legs. Isn't that such a great feeling. Now I cant sit WITHOUT crossing them Even with the couple bumps in the road, you have done great. Just hang in there til that cast is off then you can get back to exercising.
I'm sorry to hear about your leg. I hope They are paying for all your medical bills, pain and suffering.
