Anyone want to get married ?

This may sound crazy but I really wish I could find someone in my town who has good insurance that I could marry so I could get surgery. It is hard to watch approval after approval for others(on the message boards) and to read the exclusion in my policy. I am trying to stay positive and I keep researching my options but so far marriage would be my easiest (and maybe only) option. ANY IDEAS?? Dannielle

I honestly considered finding a husband when I didn't think I had a way to have the surgery. I had all kind of crazy ideas in my head of ways to get 20 thousand to pay for it. Finally I found out about Vocational Rehabilitation Services and thats who paid for my surgery. Have you checked them out? I hope everything works out for you. Kay

HI Dannielle, I really know how you feel, i had insurance with my company for 10 years I was getting denied over and over again for surgery, this went on for 2 years. Finally my partner was able to put me on her insurance then surgery was approved in 2 days. My parnter works for TIME WARNER CABLE. They reconize domestic partnership as a marriage. They covered all my surgery and after care. Which was way over 70,000 dollars. And even though are kids are not biologically my partner she was able to add them to the policy also. I know it is sooo hard to see people getting approved, but just wait your time will come. When one door close, another will always open up for you.
