Sorry, I didn't see this post yesterday.  Yes, we did have the Mini-Mees support group meeting last night.  Hopefully, you came.  If not, our next meeting is May 1st at 7pm.

Can someone confirm if there is a support group meeting tonight at the Flint Energy Bldg tonight at 7pm?  I'm a newbie and would love to attend and ask some insurance questions as I am hopefully having everything submitted to the insurance company today!!!

Well at this point all of it has come to a halt...my insurance (which is not the same as it was when I had the original surgery done) has an exclusion.  Unless I can get my company to provide an exception - and self pay isn't an option - I'm just going to have to work on diet and exercise. 

I do work out regularly - and am actually a certified fitness instructor.   I had to take a leave from that when I was in my wreck last year and I'm just now getting back to the strength I was at prior to that time. 

I'm "hoping' That going back to basics will help me to lose - but my thyroid does now play a major factor in all of this.  I will be going to the Endo on Monday so just pray that I can find some answers somewhere.

what should i expect from the 3 test i have mine set up for next week and then surgery is April 25th.... is big problem with test or they simple......cardiac one and then whats the Pulmonary one and then the upper GI........

i met all my requirements and summited then was told that the dr. could do my surgery but not in that hopsital so i had to change and got the letter saying i was approved  i only had to change drs... and all my requirements were good... took 3 days to get approved with Dr. Macik in Atlanta........ so April 25th, 2012 i hope to have surgery
