Topic: Docs in west ga?
Ok guys I need your help.. I had RNY on Nov 2, 2011. My doctor, Dr. Freeman in Anniston is retiring as of now and I need to find a good doctor to get in with. I have heard of Ferguson, and Turton in LaGrange and Dr, Scott in Rome, and Champion in Atl....Any one have any ideas who would be better for follow up care from another physician? I llive in Bowdon and really dont want to drive 2 or 3 hrs for an appt if I dont have to but I DO want a good competent doc!

There are two support groups that meet in Warner Robins.
The MiniMees meet the 1st Tuesday of each month 7pm at Flint Energies, 900 GA Hwy 96 (next to Houston Co. High School). Next meeting is May 1st.

The exersize dude is 70$ per session. He isn't gonna push you to do things you can't do. I will tell you my first visit w/ him, he kicked my butt w/ a stay ball & 10lb weights!!!!! I was sore for a week.lol! I have my second visit tomorrow. I had my second visit w/ the dietician yesterday & I lost 8 lbs!!! I am happy w/ that. I want to loose 15 before I go back to her again on May 11th. I hope I can. I was H pylori positive too and I have a couple of days left on my meds. 3 different types. I was thinking -wow. They are trying to kill everything I have!! But anyway, I hope all is well w/ you any you are keeping a positive perspective on everything!

I use the same practice but a differnt surgeon and mine only requires a clear liquid diet the day before.

ONE DAY AT A TIME 
Topic: I got a DATE!!
I actually found out by calling my insurance company! I found out yesterday that it was in queue to be reviewed by the nurse so I called back this afternoon to offer more compelling information in favor of an approval just in case they needed any and the precertification mgr on the phone told me it was scheduled for May 2 !!! I can hardly believe it!! I've put in a call to Dr. Hart's office to find out what my next steps are and if I need to go on the liquid diet.....just not sure at this point! Going to read the information that they gave me when I went to the seminar. I have to agree with another poster Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Insurance ROCKS! I guess I'll have to be nice to the hubby :) hehehe kidding. So ready for this to get the ball rolling...scared to death too but I know I need this more than anything!!

Hey.... i like him did my 4th visit yesterday I wanted to do the 3 month but csnt do the exercise guy because of my back issues right now not really able to work out,, is he expensive.. my labs came back said I was positive for H pylori have to take antibiotics, they say it is common.. and that i am 1 candy bar away from diabetic....my 6 months wil be up in july becuase you really have to have 7 visits..keep me posted..
