To CURVES or Not to CURVES....

Hey Modean, another thing to consider about Curves is that the company owner donates 10% of their yearly profits to anti-abortion groups. That may not be important to some, but for me it was a deal breaker. Kelle

That's why I quit going because I heard that. Another big problem is the very restrictive hours of operation.

I'm late on this but I'll give my opinion anyway...I didn't not like it. Just like most of the gals above I found it to be too mudane and boring. I didn't find the workouts that great either. It is great for the beginner, but after that I see no benefit. I went for a total of two months out of the whole year that I paid for the membership. Wasted money is all it was. A regular gym can offer better hours, a variety of workout equipment and an assortment of classes for all levels that can motivate you to go and get your monies worth. If you really want to try Curves, ask them for a complimentary one week pass. They usually are happy to oblige. Hugs, Tonya
