A WOW Realization!
You know, when one is 340 pounds, a loss of 7 pounds was not evident for me at all. The scales said so, but no where on me could you tell. (Not even in my little toe!
)
Over the holidays, I gained 6 pounds, due to taking a week's worth of steroids. I have been very upset about it, because it was very evident to me, in the way my clothes were fitting. I have not gained anymore since then, but was struggling to lose that weight back.
Well, during my gallbladder extravagance, I dropped SEVEN pounds and I CAN TELL IT!!! My clothes fit better and I can tell it in my face.
This is such a NEW experience for me that a mere 7 pounds one way or the other, could make such a difference, but MAN O' MAN does it ever.
I wore a top today that I bought right before the holidays that I LOVE, but I was unhappy with the way it looked, so it was just sitting in the closet collecting dust.
It looked great today, and I am so thrilled.
I know this sounds pretty inconsequential, but honestly I never realized less than 10 pounds would make such an effect on me whereas it never had before.
Ok..I'm through rambling....
Hope you are all having a FABULOUS day!!!

Tami,
You are so beautiful! I hope you are doing well after your gallbladder surgery! I hope you and Joe make it on Saturday. Me and Beth decided if you were late that doesn't matter we will wait on you!
Lorie
Tami,
I will tell you the same thing I was told after my GB surgery......"bet you didn't know that thing weighed so much did ya?"
I know for me as a bigger person fo so long that looking at these women who want to lose 10 pounds I'd scoff at them thinking "10 pounds...you've GOT to be kidding me." Well - I think I finally understand the difference of 10 pounds!
You're doing fantastic!!!! I hope to be able to come to the gathering this weekend but I won't know for sure until Saturday afternoon.
Much
Dee Dee
